Hampton gates…New Zealand premier wooden gate manufacturers recently completed what is believed to be the largest ever hand made wooden gate.

A sliding gate which measured 7.8 Mtrs long by 1.8 mtrs high ( That is 25.74 feet long x 5.94 feet high.)

Manufactured entirely from clear macrocarpa

Hampton gates were entrusted with this very special project by a client wanting a large sliding gate that did not cost more than his house and made totally from Macrocarpa.

Hampton Gates are the largest Gate Company in New Zealand who make all their wooden gates from macrocarpa….regarded as the most stable timber for making wooden gates.

They also use laminated macrocarpa for gate frames which ensures the frames remain absolutely stable without twisting or warping.

Hampton Gates also operate their own laminating plant where laminated fence posts and gate frames are made.
